| Our Canine Good Citizen training teaches your dog much more than basic behaviors! We focus on building and strengthening your relationship with your dog, as well as teaching basic good manners. Behaviors are taught using the latest motivational techniques, by a certified professional instructor and experienced assistants and include sit,down,stay,come and how to walk on a loose leash to name a few. All family members are WELCOME in class. We have no more than 6 dogs per trainer so you get lots of personal instruction! Class size is limited to 12 dogs. Classes are held at the Cornell University Cooperative Extension building with easy access from Rt 81. We have a large heated/air conditioned training space, rest rooms and plenty of parking. A portion of profits from these classes are donated to Cornell University's Cooperative Extension to help our 4H program grow! We also offer in home private instruction. Our Basic Manners class and Group Play Class is now
available at Stay & Play Pet Care in Windsor, NY. Any age dog is
welcome and all family members are encouraged to attend. We teach
you how to train your dog to respond to sit, down, stay, come, to
wait at doorways and how to walk on a loose leash. We will also
address any concerns you may have such as how to deal with
jumping, chewing, biting and house training. Find more detail here.
The group class runs for 45 minutes each Saturday morning and
includes play breaks for the dogs. Classes run continuously
throughout the season and you may use your classes as you like.

Puppy Socialization and Manners Class
This is a 4 week class for puppies aged 8 weeks to 16 weeks by
start of class. Puppies need to have completed their first set of
shots and be parasite free. Get yourself and your puppy off to a
great start! Puppies will enjoy learning and playing with each
other in this class.
Here are some of the topics that will be covered:
* basic commands – sit, down, recall and leave it
* proper greeting manners
* introduction to many different noises and people
* acceptance of handling and grooming
* introduction to clicker training
* walking on a loose leash
* puppy party play time
Cost: $55.00 – 4H member, $65.00 non-member
