Thinking of buying a new horse?
Connie is an IAABC Certified Horse Behavior Consultant. She can
assist you with a new horse purchase or with helping address a
current behavioral problem.
Purchases:
Connie will conduct a behavior evaluation of potential candidates for your purchase. She will work together
with your trainer and vet to help you find the perfect horse for you and your family.
Behavioral Problems including:
Bucking, rearing, or bolting
Problems loading in a horse trailer
Shy or fearful behaviors
Cribbing or digging holes in the stall
Kicking
Biting
Jigging
Nervousness
Equipment problems
Rider instructor problems
Spooky behavior
Long lining
Problems being caught from the field
Other problems
What is Included in an On-site Behavior Consult at your barn?
Review of your completed Questionnaire
A behavior evaluation of your horse
A step by step management and behavior modification plan for you to follow
Follow-up as needed
Length of Appointments: Most consultations require 1 1/2 to 2 hours. 3 Follow-up phone calls or
emails are included with the first appointment. You are encouraged to keep me informed of your
progress or problems. My goal is to help you to be successful!
Appointment Times:
Evening and weekend appointments are available.

Fees for behavioral consultation appointments:
$30 deposit at time of scheduling
$50.00 per hour for appointment time ($30 deposit applied to first hour)
Travel expenses additional outside Greater Binghamton Area
Payment:
Payment is requested at the time of your appointment made by cash or check.
Cancellation Policy:
Full refund of $30 deposit if given 24 hour notice.
If you miss your appointment without prior 24 hour notification of cancellation, you will not be refunded
your $30 deposit.
